Star Empires is an indie game in development. It's a turn-based strategy game in space. In this game, you acquire planets, engage in democracy and trade with other factions, and finally, engage in battle with a customized fleet. Unlike other games of this genre, Star Empires is designed to be simple and streamlined: Think of it as a "casual Grand-strategy". There's far less focus on micro-managing an empire, so there's more time for exploration, diplomacy, and awesome space battles. Star Empires is designed more like a board game, so it is faster and more multi-player friendly. Star Empires is designed so that a multiplayer game between 4 players can be wrapped up in an hour, but longer games with bigger maps is possible. Many games of this genre have a lot of detail when it comes to empire building, management of economy, etc. But the battle system is streamlined. Star Empires is the opposite: A deep combat system with simple economic management. There will be an option for abstract, quick combat for players that prefer strategy over tactics. Multiplayer can be played online or hot-seat (same device). Single-Player play against AI is also an option.

The release date is yet to be determined. Right now, we're trying to raise funds for the game.
